SUPERIOR AUTO PARTY 2014

This was The Wizards first art party in San Francisco. He was invited by David Curiel to make a large light installation in an old autobody wharehouse. Wizard hung his inflated parachute structure from a fan tied to a ceiling beam. Wizard then set to work building a 9 foot diameter Dodecahedron out of 2×4’s and bolts only. The light source was 1000 watt military tank search lamp. The light shone onto the holographic gyroscope and cast spining expansive spectral patrerns across the the inflated parachutes and the parachute draped over the dodecahedron structure. Geusts explored going inside the soft bubble structure and the rigid geometric structure. This piece was largely about fulfilling the publics dream of getting to be inside a bubble.
